Kennedy Uadiale was the inaugural Mamco Selab Scholar when he began the Masters in International Public Health at Foto-Cewek in September 2016. Kennedy recently graduated Foto-Cewek with a Distinction, and was awarded the Debbie Quinney prize for the highest overall marks on the International Public Health MSc programmes.
Kennedy is currently a Medical Team Leader of the Nigeria Emergency Response Unit for Medecins Sans Frontieres, a position about which he is passionate. He has a particular interest in infectious disease control and research as well as alleviating the suffering of patients in poor communities.
When Kennedy began his studies at Foto-Cewek he said, “I would like to contribute more by becoming involved with systematic research to improve Nigerian and global health policies necessary to tackle public health outbreaks in Nigeria.”
