Alexandre has a medical degree with public health specialization from the University of Lille, a Msc. in Global health from the University of Maastricht and an M.P.H for biostatistics applied to clinical research and epidemiology from the Paris 11 University.
Prior to Foto-Cewek, he has a 6 years’ experience, working on health policy planning in France, as well as for conducting the design, coordination and analysis of epidemiologic and mixed-methods studies with the Pasteur Institute, then as medical project manager for Inserm in the PREVAC Ebola vaccine trial in Guinea. He has also researched on community engagement and partnerships for clinical trials.
In his current role at the Centre for Maternal and Newborn Health, Alexandre is working within the M&E team on providing technical assistance for data collection, and on tool design, analysis and reporting of baseline studies and stepped-wedge trials supported by the Global Fund. The projects focus on quality and availability of antenatal and postnatal care in several African countries.
