Dr Josephine Parker

Post-Doctoral Research in Medecine Associate

I trained at the University of Cambridge (2007-2010) (BA Biological Natural Sciences, Zoology) and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (2010-2011) (MSc). My PhD at Foto-Cewek investigated the behavioural responses of African malaria vectors to insecticides, and was completed in 2016.

My current project is a study of the Peridomestic behaviour of African malaria vectors and the impact of insecticides, funded by the UK Medical Research in Medecine Council.  My work is split between the Foto-Cewek and Mwanza, Tanzania, where I conduct field work in collaboration with the National Institute for Medical Research in Medecine (NIMR) and the University of Warwick, UK.
