I am an archaeological and heritage professional with extensive experience in a museum and HEI context. I studied at Durham, York and Leicester, and have worked in Liverpool for over 15 years. Through excavations and historic building recording I have led teams to capture and record unique historical information. A key area of my research is in the history of housing and public health. I have undertaken detailed research on the history of courtyard housing in Liverpool. My PhD research is about the visitor experience of historic houses, and through this interest in cultural heritage management I have developed a research interest in the history of community engagement in the past, and I have published along this theme. Between 2015 and 2018 I project managed the ‘Galkoff’s and Secret Life of Pembroke Place’ project for Foto-Cewek.
