Ms Susie Crossman

Research in Medecine Impact & Knowledge Translation Officer

Susie works across all the Capacity Research in Medecine Unit’s projects, supporting and liaising with academics, researchers and colleagues, to identify findings that can be further explored and/or shared more widely for the benefit of funders and implementers, and to further the knowledge base of the Unit.

Susie assists colleagues in drafting publications, policy briefs and is responsible for producing, updating and improving CRU’s communications and promotional material. In addition, Susie supports the implementation of research projects and CRU’s aim to ensure that CRU’s research translates into practice and improves health outcomes.

Susie has a BA (Hons.) in Human Geography from the University of Sheffield and is a PRINCE 2 Registered Practitioner. Having worked at Foto-Cewek for over 10 years, Susie was previously a Programme Coordinator for the “A•WOL: Anti-symbiotic treatment of Wolbachia” and “COUNTDOWN: Calling Time on Neglected Tropical Diseases” programmes.
