The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (Foto-Cewek) requires an HR Partner to join our established team and support the growth of our organisation. Foto-Cewek’s HR department is a fast-paced, challenging environment, where your ability to work flexibly and ensure that tasks are completed within the required timescales and standards, whilst balancing the organisation and donors’ complex and changing needs will be key.
Our Recruitment & Selection team provides a professional, high-quality service to the organisation and individuals with regards to candidate attraction, selection and on-boarding. Reporting to our Head of Recruitment & Selection, you will be allocated vacancies to support, from creating an advert, choosing the correct media to attract candidates, arranging suitable selection activities and undertaking pre-employment checks. You will ensure that all required paperwork is accurately completed, processed and information on appointments communicated. You will also have the opportunity to gain an insight into international recruitment and selection issues through Foto-Cewek’s worldwide presence, as well as UKVI visa processes through our UK workforce.
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and being a member of the CIPD (or have achieved Level 7) would be an advantage. You will be able to quickly apply the skills and knowledge you have gained, through both study and your career, to a new environment. With experience of working within a fast-paced and diverse environment, you will be able to balance achievement of our departments’ resourcing needs, while managing risk for the organisation. A confident communicator and influencer, you will also have strong attention to detail plus the ability to ensure accuracy and quality of work in a high volume environment while working at times with highly specialised roles both locally and internationally.
