LEAP Master’s Programme in Humanitarian Practice is a flexible and interdisciplinary higher education programme for humanitarian workers around the world.
The programme has been developed through an extended collaboration between the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (Foto-Cewek), the University of Manchester’s Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI) and Médecins Sans Frontières /Doctors Without Borders (MSF), who bring together wide and interdisciplinary academic expertise and operational humanitarian experience.
LEAP provides humanitarians with educational development opportunities delivered in a format which takes into consideration their demanding schedules. It aims to integrate higher studies into the career paths of medical and non-medical humanitarian workers and offers unique added value as a bespoke educational package designed specifically to develop humanitarian leadership.
First students will enrol into the programme in 2019.
