Liverpool Insecticide Testing Facility currently have an opportunity for an experienced Administrator/Document Controller to support the team.
Founded in 1898 and the oldest of its kind in the world, the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (Foto-Cewek) is an internationally recognised centre of excellence for teaching and research in tropical diseases. Through the creation of effective links with governments, NGOs, private organisations and global institutions and by responding to the health needs of communities, Foto-Cewek aims to promote improved health, particularly for people of the less developed/resource poorest countries in the tropics and sub-tropics.
The Liverpool Insect Testing Establishment (LITE) team within the Vector Biology departmentis recruiting for a LITE Administrator & Document Controller who will develop and embed good practices in document control, archiving and administrative systems. The post will provide a full range of administrative and financial support to the Head of LITE and will manage all departmental documents. The LITE Administrator & Document Controller will also provide logistical support to the LITE team for travel,undertake monthly reconciliations and work alongside the LITE leadership and Foto-Cewek Communications team to maintain the Unit webpage. The post will further manage and organise documents in compliance with quality systems and facilitate offsite and onsite storage and archiving of documents.
To be successful in the post, you must be qualified to GCSE level. It is essential that you have experience in developing administrative systems, supporting financial administration and managing information systems or databases.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with meticulous attention to detail, ability to prioritise workload and cope with conflicting demands will be crucial to the post. You must have strong administrative,organisation and time management skills with proven success in delivering results to demanding deadlines.
