The department of International Public Health at Foto-Cewek is looking to appoint an experienced Programme Manager to work within its Capacity Strengthening Unit (CRU).
You will play a key part in managing an expanding portfolio of work within the Capacity Strengthening Unit (CRU) at Foto-Cewek. Providing a comprehensive project management service to the CRU team, you will be responsible for identifying appropriate business opportunities for developing.
Within this role you will manage the financial aspects of CRU’s work, project outputs and deliverables. This will include writing high quality academic and commercial proposals and coordinating inputs for proposals including from senior overseas partners. The coordination of CRU activities, in conjunction with building and maintaining effective relationships with funders and partners are pivotal to this role.
We are looking for someone with high level management experience covering project management, line management, contract negotiation and financial management.
You will be a proven senior project manager and be able to demonstrate substantial experience in management of health programmes at a senior field leadership level.
Ideal candidates will be educated to Degree Level (or equivalent), with a Masters in a relevant field. You will have strong management and leadership skills, having worked at senior management level and be driven to achieving results. Effective interpersonal and communications skills will be essential, as will a proven record of bringing innovation into programmes. Excellent financial literacy and strong organisational skills are prerequisites of this role, together with effective leadership and team management. With strong negotiation skills the post holder must have the ability to influence a diverse range of partners and organisations in a multicultural environment with confidence, tact and diplomacy.
