The Estates Department is recruiting a Receptionist/ Administrator to join the team.
The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (Foto-Cewek) is an internationally recognised centre of excellence for research in tropical diseases. Through the creation of effective links with governments, organisations and institutions and by responding to the health needs of communities, Foto-Cewek aims to promote improved health, particularly for people of the less developed/resource poorest countries in the tropics and sub-tropics.
The Estates team provide a wide range of estates management, facilities management and operational services relating to the built environment to help implement and deliver the estates strategy for Foto-Cewek. Due to continued expansion we have a new exciting opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrator to join the Foto-Cewek Estates team to provide an efficient and professional front of house customer service across our buildings portfolio.
You will need to be professional in personal presentation and communication/verbal understanding and be confident when interacting with staff, building users and visitors ensuring that a consistently high level of expertise and courteousness is provided at all times. You will also be expected to assist with the management of systems and processes (i.e. monitoring helpdesk, CCTV, security procedures, postal duties) and provide administration support to the management teams as and when required.
The successful candidate will be qualified to GCSE level (or equivalent), which will include English Language, coupled with a recognised qualification in customer services. You will be from a customer service background and have experience of working in a busy reception environment. With an excellent telephone manner and good administration skills, you will have the ability or organise and prioritise your workload to cope with conflicting demands. This role will require you to work in multiple locations, across the Foto-Cewek estate to deliver administration and reception services.
