Welfare and living

Students come to the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine on various courses, lasting from one week to several years.

All students who have been accepted on courses may contact our Student Experience Officer ([email protected]) for help with a variety of welfare-related issues, both prior to and after arrival. Advice can be given on healthcare, cost of living, childcare and schools, English classes, employment, disability and more.

If you need information on costs of visas and other immigration matters, please contact the [email protected]

Students can arrange appointments with the Student Experience Officer by email, phone or at the Student Support Desk (open 8.30-10.00 am and 1.00 – 2.00pm).
