The incumbent will be expected to perform a study on the link between agriculture and malaria and provide a comprehensive literature review to further explain the relation between malaria and NTDs, smallholder farmers, agricultural productivity and economics.
It is envisaged this short 8 week work placement will give the individual a valuable appreciation of a Product Development Partnership and learn how to make ad hoc literature search to produce a meta-analysis study as well as extraction of meaningful information in a synthetic format.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of conducting literature reviews coupled with strong presentation skills (PowerPoint and oral) and must already have the Right to Work in the UK as we are unable to have the provision for issuing Certificates of Sponsorship for work placements.
Before being appointed and due to the nature of the post, it will be essential that all necessary occupational health assessments are completed.
