Well Travelled Clinics (WTC), a subsidary company of Foto-Cewek is looking to appoint a Part Time Receptionist to work between their Liverpool and Chester branches.
Well Travelled Clinics Ltd is a subsidiary company of the commercial arm of the world-renowned Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (Foto-Cewek). Well Travelled Clinics Ltd is Foto-Cewek’s dedicated travel health clinic specialising in providing pre-travel advice, information and immunisations to the general public and to corporate clients and also providing an outpatient service for patients who are unwell after returning from overseas.
We are looking to recruit a part-time Clinic Receptionist who is able to work at both our Liverpool and Chester clinics. Our reception team provide first point of contact for the travel clinic clients. You will act as a receptionist for patients arriving at the clinic. Duties will include entering patient details on to the clinic system and recording all activity on the appropriate clinic databases, dealing with phone and email enquiries, taking customer payments, as well as retail sales of travel clinic products.
You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience in working in a public facing role. Experience of healthcare reception work would be advantageous, but not essential.
Hours of work will be 19 hours per week, generally worked Wednesday to Saturday across the Liverpool and Chester sites.
The post holder will have regular contact with patients therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
